
Is this a good diet…. example for 1 day?
This is what I normally eat in 1 day.
1 cup Coffee with non dairy creamer & 1 equal
1 special K blueberry bar
1 lowfat yogurt
1 small grilled chicken with broccolli
1 glass diet green tea
1glass diet green tea
1 Nutragrain bar
2 turkey meatballs with mushroom & organic marinera sauce
1/2 cup whole wheat pasta
parmasean cheese
1glass diet green tea
1cup dark hot chocolate with 1equal
Is this too much…too little or normal? What do you eat in 1 day?
I eat this much at one meal, girl!!!!!!
If your trying to lose weight this may be working for you.
I think it is too little and not varied enough, it needs more vegetables.
For breakfast eat a 3 egg white omelet with mushrooms and spinach sauteed in a little olive oil on days you have time to cook. The bars you eat are loaded with sugar and preservatives! I would suggest All Bran cereal bars or Kashi bars, or eat a bowl of cereal like shredded wheat with skim milk with some strawberries on it.
Snacks are OK. Just add more protein, like low fat string cheese or a few smoked almonds or pistachios and a couple wheat crackers(i like triscuits).
Supplement meals with a tossed green salad include dark green lettuces like romaine and fresh grape tomatoes, and a few toasted walnuts, sprinkle with balsamic vinegar and olive oil.
Eat fresh fruit like tangerines, kiwi, cantaloupe, red grapes a couple times a day.
Drink plenty of plain water, too.
