Nesco Coffee Bean Roaster 800W Deluxe Pro
The Nesco® Coffee Bean Roaster is fun and easy. The pre-set digital controls allow you to roast Coffee Beans in 20 to 30 minutes and have them ready for brewing. You can also create your own signature gourmet coffees from your favorite bean combinations. Choosing your favorite bean combinations allows you to achieve a wide range of distinct flavors and roasts up to 1/3 lb. of beans that equals 36 Cups of coffee.
This 5 star roaster has an advanced patented catalytic technology and powerful agitator along with its advanced catalytic converter that significantly reduces smoke and odors. Less smoke and odors means a better tasting cup of coffee and makes this machine perfect for those who prefer to roast indoors. And, it is significantly quieter than most other home coffee roasters. Smoke comes from overheating that gives your roasted beans a slightly burnt smell or taste and thus your coffee. When roasting coffee beans, remember that once the beans are roasted, remain truly fresh only within the next 10 days. To accommodate those who prefer dark roasts, a second fill line was added on the roast chamber. This unit also boasts a glass roast chamber that allows easy viewing and monitoring of your roast in progress, thus giving you added control in the roasting process. When buying a variety of beans, it is okay to freeze then for a short period of several months. The Nesco Coffee roaster is easy to use, but be sure to read all the directions first before using it.
One reviewer said: “The Nesco coffee roaster is very easy to use and once you determine what coffee to roast and what level to roast it to you will have fresh coffee that will be hard to beat.” If you only drink espresso coffee on the week-ends, try roasting on Thursday or Friday and roast just enough for the week-end. You will happily surprised how smoother and how much fresher your coffee will taste. Try 20 minutes for about 100 grams of coffee beans to start with and then adjust to your taste. If some chaff escapes to the counter, just brush it or vacuum it away. Features include a patented catalytic technology to reduce a UL listing and it includes a roasting journal, an instruction guide smoke and odor.
This Nesco coffee roaster does have many common sense requirements that is recommended reading. The easy-to-use 800-watt coffee-bean roaster ensures the freshest results and runs on 120 volts. It measures 14.8 inches by 10.5 inches by 14 inches, weighs 9 pounds and comes with a 1 year limited warranty.
